Partito da Albino (Bg) nel maggio del 1942 il caro amico Luigi Testa, marconista del genio aggregato alla 103ma Compagnia Radiotelegrafisti della Divisione Celere, partecipava alla tragica campagna di Russia assieme alle truppe Alpine e veniva fatto prigioniero e dato per disperso.
Dopo una rocambolesca fuga dal campo di prigionia coraggiosamente e con grandi sacrifici riusciva a rientrare assieme ad alcuni compagni di prigionia in Italia nel Giugno 1943.
Quest’anno ricorre il centenario della sua nascita e per ricordarlo agli amici che lo hanno conosciuto e soprattutto per celebrare il sacrificio dei marconisti aggregati al Corpo di Spedizione Italiano in Russia (in seguito ARMIR) la sezione ARI di Albino, in collaborazione con la sezione ARI di Cuneo e il Gruppo Radioamatori Alpini organizzano un diploma commemorativo.
Il Diploma commemorativo che verrà rilasciato alle stazioni radio che ne faranno richiesta e le conferme di ascolto (QSL) che invieremo a tutti i partecipanti saranno firmati, oltre che dal Presidente della Sezione di Albino e dal Presidente della Sezione di Cuneo anche dal Responsabile del Gruppo Radioamatori Alpini.
Leaving his home in Albino (Bg) Italy in May 1942, our dear friend Luigi Testa , radio operator aggregated to 103rd Compagnia Radiotelegrafisti della Divisione Celere, participated in the tragic Russian campaign along with the Alpine troops and was taken prisoner and reported missing .
After a daring escape from the prison camp, courageously and with great sacrifices could come along with some fellow prisoners in Italy in June 1943.
This year is the centenary of his birth and to remember Him, and especially to celebrate the sacrifice of the radio operators aggregated to Italian Expeditionary Corps in Russia (hereinafter ARMIR ) the ARI Albino, in conjunction with ARI Cuneo and the Radio Amateur Alpine Group organize a commemorative Award.
The commemorative Award that will be released to radio stations who request it and the confirmations of listening (QSL ) that we will send to all participants will be signed by the President of the Section of Albino, the President of the Section of Cuneo and also the Head of Radio Amateur Alpine Group.
